I am from Louisville, KY. I am a recent graduate of the University of Chicago. I have spent the last year teaching English abroad in Spain. I specifically worked with second grade and 4 and 5 year old students in my school. I also gave private English classes in the evening to a 7 year old and a 10 year old, and conversation classes to two 14 year olds and two 17 year olds. The past two summers I have worked in a summer program in Louisville, teaching English and math to 1-3 graders. I have also been a substitute teacher in the school system of my hometown and taught all grade levels.

My teaching style is definitely fun but firm. I try to make the lessons as fun as possible by making them relatable to interests and hobbies of my students, so we're having a good time but still getting through the lesson.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging with my family and friends, traveling to new places, reading a lot, knitting and crocheting, and crafting in general.
