Certified Tutor

Ever since I was young, I have been passionate about helping other reach their full potential in all areas of life. This is the reason that I went into medical school to become a physician, and it is also the reason that I love helping students. I have worked tutoring students as a part time job since I was in high school where I tutored younger children in math, English, and science. As a college student at Tulane University, I tutored elementary through high school students in multiple subjects including math, science, English, and reading. I graduated from Tulane University in 2014 with a bachelors in Neuroscience and proceeded to get my Masters in Neuroscience the following year. In 2016, I entered Baylor College of Medicine, and I am now working towards receiving my MD with plans to become a neurologist. Going to the medical field, I have always loved tutoring in biology and anatomy. My teaching philosophy is that all of my students have the ability to reach the goals that we plan for. My tutoring style is to always approach each tutoring session as a way not only to teach the students about the material they are learning, but to teach them general strategies of learning that can apply to the future. I love reading about history, and I love watching documentaries. I am also a huge football and basketball fan.
