I am a recent graduate of the Johns Hopkins University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in the Writing Seminars; Spanish; and Medicine, Science, and the Humanities.

I have spoken and written proficiency in Spanish and French, and am particularly passionate about foreign language education. I have taught French, Spanish, and English to students ranging from elementary school to working professionals. I have a strong background in the sciences, having completed the pre-medical track, and am enthusiastic about helping students pursuing high school science coursework prepare for the demands of a college STEM curriculum. Beyond this, I have a wealth of writing experience, from creative to analytical, and enjoy helping students develop and refine their writing skills and style.

My teaching style is highly individualized, with an eye towards my students' particular challenges and interests. I adapt my lesson plans as guided by students' progress, and incorporate diverse learning media to promote engagement. Most of all, though, I believe in a supportive environment where my students can develop confidence and explore their academic interests.

In my free time, I love to run and read/write poetry.
