I received a bachelor's degree from UTD and a Master's degree from the University of North Texas in Biology. I am currently enrolled in an accelerated online Bachelor's of Science in Nursing program at UT Arlington.

I enjoy teaching because I have been tutoring/teaching my peers throughout my coursework in many of the classes I have taken. I have helped students with Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Genetics, Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, and I was an undergraduate TA for Neuroanatomy at UTD. I am well versed in neuroscience. I have 21 hours of neuroscience included in my undergraduate and graduate studies.


I have been a mentor with a club on campus at UNT for about 6 years. I mentor college students who are in a club on campus called Christian Students. It has been my pleasure to mentor and guide these students in their lives. Working with people is what I enjoy.

I am easy to work with, flexible, and caring. I want to help students learn and experience the joy of learning.

I enjoy teaching any of the subjects listed above. There may be others that I can help with as well.

I like to use a gradual approach to learning, a step by step approach. Sometimes there is just a missing piece. When the piece is found everything makes sense!
