Hi, my name is Jonah Sharkins. I recently graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, and I am currently pursuing my Masters at the University of Michigan in the same field. I have tutored a variety of students, from high schoolers to fellow classmates, and it is something I really enjoy doing.
I have always had a passion for math and science, but I am especially passionate about math. It continues to be subject that I really enjoy doing, even though it can be tricky at times. I understand that it is not easy for everyone because everyone learns differently. That's why I think it's important to find new ways to present difficult topics, because sometimes looking at a problem in a different way can make it a lot easier. I love that breakthrough feeling when I help a student grasp a difficult topic, and I look forward to sharing that feeling with you.
