My name is Kasey and my background includes experience in the medical, business, and science fields. I spent 7 years working in the insurance industry while I was completing my bachelor's degree in business management. I then had my first child and due to his health issues, I took an extended leave from work to care for him. During this time, I started volunteer work again by serving nonprofit organizations and also discovered a passion for medical knowledge. This inspired me to go back to school after my son's health was stable and pursue a degree in science so I could enter the medical field one day. While I was pursuing a bachelor's degree in biochemistry I also completed many additional biology classes and dove back into volunteering with the under-served, including the veteran and homeless populations. Through all of these experiences, I discovered I have a deep passion in helping people to work through their challenges and be able to perform to the best of their abilities.

My outside interests include reading, sewing, baking, learning, and crafting. I also really enjoy making personal products such as lip balms and salves.
