Learning is a life-long journey. There is always something new to learn or a skill to master. I enjoy being on either side of learning - teaching and being taught. For me this has always been the case when I work with curious students - I inevitably learn just as much as they do and enjoy every bit of it.

I am always interested in not only what students are having difficulty with, but also why. Is it the way they are approaching a subject? Is it the way the material is being presented? As I work with students, I try and assess the roadblocks and impediments to their learning and try to address them as part of the tutoring process.

I have worked with a variety of students, some old and some young, some who prefer things faster, and those who prefer one idea at a time.

To best use your time with me, I encourage students to be forthcoming, and understand that curiosity is the key to learning. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the hardest to grasp, and students should have no worry to ask any questions.

I look forward to working with you, and improving your learning experience as you seek to do better in school.

Lastly, preparation is key - both for the student and the tutor. I encourage students to submit material and questions as early as possible to allow for preparation. Proper preparation ensures the tutoring time is used effectively to the benefit of the students.
