Certified Tutor

I just recently graduated from Penn State University and received my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Neuroscience focus. In addition to this, I also received a minor in History. I am currently working toward my goal of attending law school and obtaining a J.D. with the eventual goal of practicing patent law. I first started tutoring during my free period as a senior in high school, and in college, I continued working with students as a Teaching Assistant for the Sociology department for a year. As someone who has always enjoyed learning new subjects and topics, I've found it very rewarding to help others reach their full potential and recognize how they learn. As each individual is unique, everyone learns differently, so when tutoring it is important for me to adapt my approach for each student and personalize their experience towards their learning style. I tutor a wide variety of subjects including numerous areas of Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Sociology, History, and Government. Outside of the academic world, my interests include playing tennis, golf, fantasy football, and cooking.
