My passion for teaching is demonstrated by my commitment to each and every one of my students in helping them reach their full potential. I have been teaching and tutoring students for the past forty plus years. I have tutored a variety of subjects for students ranging from elementary school to post-college students. I love teaching and learning, and I am excited to share my passion with you!

I was humbled and honored by my recent national nomination for the Wallace A. Bacon Lifetime Teaching Excellence Award (NCA, Washington, D. C.) Locally I was voted "The Best of the Best" in 2017 and 2018, as "Best Teacher" in Elbert County, Colorado, a designation determined by the readers of Colorado Community Media publications. In 2010 I received the honor of being selected as the "Colorado Big Brother of the Year" by Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Colorado.

My Hobbies include filmmaking and video editing, and I am a true sports fanatic. Now that I am retired from public school teaching, I am excited to share nearly half a century of teaching expertise with VarsityTutors.com.

I hold a current professional teaching license, credentialed in Secondary Mathematics, Career and Technical Education (Audio, Video, Film, Technology, Broadcasting & Journalism) and Elementary Education.
