Certified Tutor

I am passionate about learning and teaching language and culture. I had the incredible opportunity of living in Ecuador in South America for two years. It was awesome. I was completely fascinated with meeting and communicating with the kind and generous people there.

When I came back to the United States, I got married and had six kids! When my youngest was in kindergarten I went back to college at the University of Michigan to complete my BA in Spanish and history for secondary education.

I now teach 7th grade Spanish and absolutely love my job. I have also taught Spanish and history at the high school level.

Another passion of mine is music. I studied flute performance at the college level, but never achieved my degree in that subject. I now enjoy playing the flute, guitar and ukulele

I am of the opinion that our children are our greatest resource and hope for the future. Educating them is a great honor and joy for me.
