Classical literature and Italian Renaissance art have dictated the course of my education and interests over the years. I have taught art history at several universities, among them the University of Oregon, the University of Kentucky, and the University of Georgia Overseas Program (Cortona, Italy). Altogether, I have almost six years of college teaching experience.

I spent years helping both my children with their English assignments, and even spent a few sessions teaching English grammar to my son's 2nd grade class. I feel particularly at home teaching English writing and grammar to younger students because their minds are still open to the possibility that English grammar and writing can actually be fun.

Currently, my time is divided on two fronts: working on a guidebook on picture frames, and revising my father's book on English grammar geared towards elementary and junior high school students.
