Certified Tutor

Hello, my name is Mike. I have tutored Math, Statistics, and the SAT since 2001. I graduated with Distinction from Harvey Mudd College with a B.S. Engineering and B.A. Economics. My SAT scores are a perfect 800 in Math and 750 in English. In Math, I have tutored from Algebra up to the various levels of Calculus. In Statistics, I have tutored in Introductory, AP, and Masters-level Statistics. For the SAT, I have helped students excel in the Math and Verbal sections.

To help you achieve your goals, I believe a tutor should have three qualities: (1) subject expertise, (2) teaching ability, and (3) a passion for teaching. In my 17 years of tutoring, I believe I have developed my teaching ability to effectively help people understand difficult problems. It is a joy for me to help people build their confidence and skills in these academic areas.

For fun, I enjoy running, coaching, movies, and reading.
