I am a passionate teacher and a lifelong learner. I have a zest for education because I've had teachers that have shown me how important it is to work hard and be willing and open to new knowledge and experiences. I believe a teacher should be flexible, accommodating, relatable, prepared, compassionate and kind to her students. If we create a welcoming, safe environment the students feel open to trying new methods and confiding in their teacher about their concerns and struggles. A teacher must always be a students and open to learn and expand and modify their approach. At the end of the day, a teacher must be uplifting and willing to put in the work along with their student. We are a team and with perseverance and hard work we will get to the end result.
