Being a deeply empathic person, I have always loved working with and helping others. Having worked for a year in a homeless shelter, where I taught adults and children of all ages with a self-designed expressive writing class, I found that I enjoyed being in a position to inspire others within the educational environment. Literature has always been a go-to during times of difficulty and confusion, while writing has served as a creative medium for self-expression. Marrying the two with other forms of art help me instill and assist others in their journey.
