Hello, my name is Emily and I am a graduate student of Literary Studies. English, writing, reading, and the humanities are my passion and I love to help others grow in these subjects.

I have spent the past year mentoring and tutoring students in a classroom setting on a range of subjects such as reading, writing, math, and standardized test prep. As well, I have experience teaching ESL in Zhejiang, China for half a year. I completed my undergraduate degree in International Cultural Studies: Communications in 2017. I will complete my MA in Literary Studies in Fall 2019.

I love to travel and have spent the last few years moving between Hawaii, Indiana, and China, as well as visiting friends around the world. I am also an artist and enjoy painting and sculpture. I have spent most of my life in schools and academic settings. I love to learn and am eager to help students achieve their goals and improve the quality of their education.
