I discovered my love for teaching very early on in my life. I distinctly remember the satisfaction I felt after teaching my good friend how to roller skate at the age of 8. Although, I didn't put two and two together until I tutored mathematics and writing to children ages 6-16 during the summers of my high school years.

Furthermore, my experience as a college level STEM tutor for Rutgers EOF and School of Engineering while I was student at Rutgers University - New Brunswick fostered my abilities and prepared me to work with a myriad of different students whose individuality required specialized attention. I have had about six years of mathematics tutoring experience and I hope to build upon the knowledge I already have in order to increase the efficacy of my methods.

I plan to attend graduate school with the intention of earning a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering in order to fulfill my dream of becoming a university level professor.
