Certified Tutor
I am a rising junior at Cornell University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in materials engineering. In between my classes, I research in an energy-focused laboratory, and participate on the executive boards of an academic integrity board, a Materials Science network, and an organization supporting women in STEM. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, spending time with animals, and taking typing tests. I hope to meet new students and offer tutoring services in math, chemistry, and French at the elementary to high school level, in addition to SAT prep. Though I have not tutored as a paid service before, I have +500 hours of community service mentoring 5th graders interested in robotics and children with autism and other learning disabilities. I hope to foster more interpersonal and professional skills to create a positive and engaging learning environment for the student and tutor. By providing students with the tools to solve problems, I look forward to seeing them succeed and prepare for their future endeavors.
