I currently hold two degrees from two top universities in Texas, a B.A. in English Rhetoric and Composition and a M.A. in Applied Linguistics. I have extensive experience tutoring and teaching students from all over the world in various areas of study: SAT reading and writing test prep, reading comprehension, developmental writing, ESL conversational english, ESL academic/professional writing, ESL reading fluency, English literary studies and essay writing. I use task-based and social constructivist methods of tutoring and teaching so that the student is engaging with the material as deeply as possible. I also find that this approach is more enjoyable for both students and myself. I absolutely love all things language and literature, and enjoy guiding students of all ages toward developmental success in these areas. I look forward to working with you!
