I know what it takes to succeed in the academic and non-academic world. I hold a master's degree in English from UNLV and taught high school English for 18 years. I funded 2 years of world travel with my wife and 5 kids by freelance writing. I am inspired by seeing students put pen to paper--or fingertips to keyboard--and watching the magic happen. This, of course, takes guided instruction and a belief in the written word. In addition to writing, I am an expert at literature, including Shakespeare. I speak really good Spanish and fluent Italian, having lived 1.5 years in Central America and 2 years in Italy.
