You matter. This is why I am a tutor; because your voice, dreams, cares, goals, and hopes need some support along the way. My desire is to help you do the hard stuff so you can succeed. I will try to make learning fun, using my creative skills. After working in Art/Graphic Design/Advertising/Marketing for over 25 years, I also earned a degree to instruct students in ESL (English as a Second Language). I will enjoy helping you if I see you putting the work in to move forward. The life experience having lived in Ohio, California, Oregon, Canada, Brazil and Japan, in addition to traveling to various Asian and South American countries, has given me an appreciation for humans different from me. I want to learn from you too. I currently am working on learning Japanese and Mandarin at the same time. I also enjoy painting with my emotions, reading on my backyard bench swing, cooking Asian food, tapping the rhythm to all styles of music, urban and rural hiking, movies that move my emotions, live theater with epic music, sitting by the fireplace or around a campfire, the sound of water, and viewing vast landscapes while noticing the details of nature. I am also an Oregon tour guide, homestay family for international visitors, a recruiter for more host families, and am still designing beauty every day.
