I'm Siwei, a rising second year at the University of Michigan, pursuing a degree in computer science alongside minors in math and physics. I love learning new things, music, running, spending time with friends, and practicing jiu jitsu. I decided to become a tutor because I'm very passionate about helping people out. My teaching style focuses on helping the student truly understand the conceptual underpinnings of the material they are studying, but I am flexible to adjusting to a variety of learning styles. My speciality is computer science, math, and physics, though I'm capable of teaching a wide range of subjects. Having thoroughly studied them, I'm quite experienced with standardized testing. I am also a veteran of the college application process, and I can offer solid advice and counseling for those prospective college students who are often staring down the dreaded college essay (I've written many myself!)
