I am a happy, energetic, and outgoing person who loves teaching children how to be smart about learning. It has always been my calling to teach children ever since I was a little girl. I would come home from school and teach my dogs.

I am currently a mom who has multiple faces, and I love to help my own children be successful. In my extra time, I love running, yoga, reading and knitting. I like playing the piano, which I taught myself. I study the bible avidly. I always loved teaching, but I especially love teaching math and reading. I became interested in both subjects because of the many positive experiences I gained through my wonderful high school teachers' positive expressions. I will never forget them. They taught me how to develop my passion and use that passion to become just like them. Not only have I taught math at every level from preschool to high community college level, I am also an co-author and author of several children's books.

Currently I am studying to become a life/health coach because another passion of mine is to stay healthy every day of my life. I know I would be very successful teaching that to people of all ages. People are my passion, and any chance I get to see them learn, help them learn, and make them independently successful, makes my day. I love the satisfaction of seeing "the light go on" when one of my students finally understands a problem. I can't wait to turn the light on for many more years to come.
