My first two years of college were the most difficult because I didn't know how to study. I mimicked the ways that my professors taught as a study tactic and often found myself ill-prepared for tests. After toying around with different study tactics, I found the methods that worked best, which included a lot of illustrations, repetition, and asking why or how as I was ingesting new information. This academic journey set me up for success academically and professionally! I hope to teach students different ways that they can study and help set them up for future growth/learning opportunities as well as tackle their toughest subjects with ease!

I've studied a myriad of different scientific and mathematical disciplines and feel comfortable tutoring biology, chemistry, nutrition, algebra, and pre-calculus among other topics! I've also completed a minor in French, which has made me moderately proficient in grammar, reading, writing, and comprehension.
