Certified Tutor

In May 2018, I will receive my Bachelor of Arts in Music (Voice Performance) and Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame. After graduation, I will pursue my Masters in Music Performance from Roosevelt University beginning in August. I am happy to tutor in a variety of subjects, but I believe I can be most helpful for students studying Music Theory, Anthropology, and Italian since these are closely related to my areas of undergraduate study. I am especially passionate about music and have tutored Music Theory I to first-year music students at the University of Notre Dame. Although Italian wasn't one of my majors, I have taken 5 semesters of Italian at Notre Dame, in addition to coursework on Italian culture taught fully in Italian and two months of study abroad in Italy. My approach to tutoring is very individualistic; every student has a specific set of learning styles and goals, so I try to create the environment each student needs for optimal learning. I also want a student to enjoy what s/he is learning and apply it to academic, career, and/or personal goals, not just to pass a specific class.
