Certified Tutor

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science. My philosophy degree had a strong focus on European intellectual history, culminating in a year abroad at Oxford University, while my Political Science degree included a wider study of economics, American politics, American constitutional law, and Comparative Politics e.g. Latin American and Asian politics. As early as my last year in high school, I tutored students in general high school level English comprehension and writing; while, in college, as a teaching assistant to the philosophy department, I tutored and graded students on their essay writing. I also have first hand experience with effective test prep regimens for the iBT TOEFL and GRE Verbal Reasoning. My TOEFL score is 117 out of 120 and GRE Verbal Reasoning score is 168 out of 170, placing me in the 99th percentile of test takers.

I truly believe that students deserve good tutors so I strive to help each of my students achieve their desired academic goals. In my spare time, I enjoy reading philosophy, cooking new recipes, and writing rap.
