During my teaching years, I have encountered students whose specific academic needs are at times ignored or left unaddressed. Whether a student is lacking skills in a particular subject; or is academically gifted, or mentally or physically challenged; or perhaps one for whom, English is a second language, every student can benefit from individualized instruction in order to address specific learning styles to meet their needs. Throughout my experiences teaching and tutoring, I come to understand the importance of quality education. I mastered the skills that enable me to reach every student at his/her own pace and at appropriate levels of success. I help my students achieve full academic potential through developing one-to-one relationships with them, teacher colleagues, administrators, and parents. In exchanging views, as members of the learning environment, I access meaningful resources that are made available during sessions.

I enjoy teaching my students reading subjects that they are working on in class during the school year and subjects that affect humanity and our environment in general. This way, they better connect with each subject at hand. My tutoring sessions are usually tailored for the student's academic levels of understanding, which are first reviewed through a pre-testing session and followed by individualized programs designed for the specific academic needs of my student. I can generally better monitor progress and make rapid adjustments to accommodate those needs. I maintain good notes on each student and communicate well with family members, which helps me have relevant discussions on student progress.
