Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of University of Kentucky. I received my Master of Arts in Teaching World Languages. I got my Professional Teaching Certificate in Chinese and Spanish (K-12) in 2017. I have worked as substitute teacher at public schools for several long term positions. I've taught as a full time Spanish teacher for two years at middle school level. I am currently working at the local Chinese school to teach Chinese to American children.

Teaching language and culture has always been my passion for life. Since I am fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, I feel comfortable to tutor subjects related to these two languages. My favorite subject to tutor is Mandarin because it is my native language and I love to talk about the amazing culture.

I believe every child has unique potential and can succeed in learning a foreign language. I would like to be the one who inspires them and leads them to explore this exciting new area! I love to use games, visuals, props and different activities to engage my students and I would adapt my instruction to satisfy each student's needs.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, yoga, running, and cooking delicious Chinese food.
