I am a graduate of the University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign. I received my Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. All throughout my time during college and high school, I have been involved in numerous tutoring opportunities in my area. I have experience teaching a wide range of subjects, but am especially passionate about math and ACT prep. My teaching philosophy is to instruct students on how to think through problems and give them the tools needed to succeed on their own. I know I have done that well when the student no longer needs me. I also like to show students how to have fun while learning because that's what makes the concepts really stick! Outside of academia, I enjoy hiking, running, playing tennis, and hanging out with my squad.
