Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Northern Illinois University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I furthered my education and earned a Master of Arts in Curriculum Instruction from Central Michigan University (Atlanta Metro Campus) and a Specialist degree from Nova Southeastern University in Early Literacy and Reading. My love for helping students has afforded me the opportunity to work with children who were hospital homebound, parents who were looking for reading and math strategies to implement with their children, as well as small and private group tutoring for schools. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Reading and Language Arts. In my experience of helping students, I have found utilizing hands out activities while taking student interest in mind in gaining the most success. I am a firm proponent of education and helping other achieve their academic goals. In my spare time, I enjoy journaling, running, painting and dancing.
