Progression needs to be planned for, so every student works, learns, and explores ideas at their own pace. I have come to understand the value of sharing educational objectives and success criteria in an individualized way. Every person develops in their own way, so presenting concepts should also be tailored to meet the students learning style. Work should be set at an appropriate, but challenging level. I am not just catering the session to a kinaesthetic learner like myself, but I use the material in a way where the student can easily understand. An appropriate, balanced, challenging, and creative session is essential in developing a students skills, knowledge and understanding. These are the underpin of personalised learning.
