Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Maryland-College Park. I received my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on transportation and project management. Since graduating in 2011, I worked for three years as an engineering specialist for the City of Philadelphia Streets Department in the Traffic Engineering Division. In 2015 I made the decision to go back to school in order to pursue a career practicing medicine. I recently completed a Pre-Medicine Post Baccalaureate program at University of Pennsylvania, and was also recently accepted into medical school for the class of 2022. I am passionate about tutoring because I believe in paying it forward in life, I was fortunate to have some great tutors growing up who helped me accelerate my academic achievement, and so my goal is to do the same thing for students today. I tutor a wide variety of subjects in math and science, including physics, chemistry, biology, and organic chemistry. My teaching philosophy is centered on patience, organization, and high achievement. In my spare time I enjoy reading, exercising, cooking, and spending time with my mini goldendoodle Sophie.
