Since childhood, the world of mathematics has been my playground. My fascination with numbers and patterns was nurtured through sleepless nights spent exploring complex theories and reading inspiring texts like "Godel, Escher, Bach." This early passion propelled me to excel in my studies, culminating in a dual baccalaureate degree in Mathematics and Physics from LYNY in Lome.
My academic journey continued at Purdue University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Driven by a thirst for deeper knowledge and innovation, I pursued and achieved a dual Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue, with a focus on Automatic Control, Robotics, and Systems Engineering.
Throughout my academic career, I have been passionate about sharing my love for mathematics and science. Helping my siblings and cousins with their math homework in our large African family was just the beginning. These early tutoring experiences were profoundly rewarding and laid the foundation for my teaching philosophy.
While studying, I had the privilege of tutoring and mentoring students preparing for their baccalaureate exams in Mathematics and Physics. Guiding them through challenging subjects like calculus, functions, and probability brought immense joy and solidified my commitment to education.
At Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, I extended my tutoring services to IUPUI students, specializing in Differential Equations, Pure Calculus, Business Calculus, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, and College Algebra. Additionally, I became a tutor for the LSAMP program, dedicated to assisting underrepresented and marginalized students in Calculus.
My tutoring journey has been enriched by working with students from diverse backgrounds and ages, from high schoolers in Upward Bound and Summer Bridge programs to adults balancing work and studies. Helping these students transition from high school to college mathematics and transforming their perspectives on the subject has been incredibly fulfilling.
My teaching style is interactive and engaging, ensuring students truly grasp the material. I ask comprehensive questions to confirm their understanding, as I have learned that students sometimes mask their confusion. Creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment is at the heart of my approach, empowering students to achieve their academic goals.
One crucial insight I've gained is that genuine understanding is the key to student success. This realization drives my passion for tutoring and my desire to contribute to Varsity Tutors. I am excited to bring my expertise, enthusiasm, and dedication to help students unlock their full potential and overcome any challenge.

I have a deep passion for reading, delving into a wide range of genres from fiction to non-fiction, and literature to science. Books on Mathematics and Theoretical Physics captivate my mind, fueling my endless curiosity. I'm also an avid fan of the latest science fiction films, particularly those that explore the vast wonders of space. However, if there's one daily ritual I cherish, it's watching comedy videos. From witty stand-up performances to the timeless, silent humor of Mr. Bean, laughter is a vital part of my routine. It keeps my spirit light and my mind sharp, ready to tackle any challenge with a smile.
