Judy Santamaria is a career professional in health care administration with a focus on geriatric nurse education, caregiver support and home care. Judy has published articles on the future of the paraprofessional workforce and the establishment of a national research center in home care. She wrote a monthly article called "Caring for the Caregiver" for the Huffington Post and is currently co-writing a chapter in a book about geriatric nursing education.
Judy holds a Master's degree in health policy and management from the Harvard Chan School of Public Health and a B.A. in psychology from Amherst College. Judy also holds a Geriatric Scholarship Certificate (GSC) through the Consortium of New York Geriatric Education Centers.
Judy loves the intricacies of language and finds helping others improve their English skills extremely rewarding. She enjoys working closely with people, both one-on-one and speaking to large and small groups. In her spare time, Judy enjoys traveling and learning languages, tap dancing, and outdoor sports such as tennis and running.
