I am a retired Math teacher, with specialties in Algebra 1, Geometry (Honors and College Prep), and Algebra 2. I have 19 years experience working with students at all proficiency levels including those who struggle with mathematics, those who just need a little help, those with IEPs or 504s, and those who relish the challenge of the Honors and AP curriculum.

Along with my work in the classroom, I have also provided home instruction and private tutoring, for students in my school district.

I can help you improve your grades in mathematics, by helping you understand the underlying concepts behind the process. Once you deeply understand the material, there is no need for memorizing! I can offer you various problem solving strategies, to help you make sense of what a math problem is asking you for, what information is given to you, and how to build the bridge between them.
