Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, with a minor in Microbiology. Currently, I am going through the process of applying for medical school, and I hope to work as Medical doctor to deal with issues of health in underserved communities and global communities. After graduation, I traveled solo extensively with the Bonderman Fellowship offered by the UW. Through this program I was able engage with people around the world, and with many cultures different then my own. I spent nearly nine months in Southeast Asia, India, Israel and South America. I am open to tutoring many different subjects, but at my core, I am a scientist and I love helping students learning specifically, chemistry, biology, and medically-related sciences. Ive taken many standardized tests, most recently the MCAT, and I am prepared to offer tutoring help to prepare for this exam, both academically and also with tips to deal with the stress and challenge of that test. I am an adamant believer that everyone is a life-long learner, and no matter the subject everyone can learn and understand how a certain discipline views the world. I believe that a positive attitude, a little hard work, and developing personalized self-learning strategies are the most effective way to master any topic. Outside of tutoring, I love to swim, explore outdoors, read, draw, and appreciate new art and music with my friends.
