I am currently an undergraduate at Vanderbilt University, studying Economics and Political Science. I began tutoring in high school through honor societies and then tutored privately. I tutor Math and History, specifically Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus, SAT Math, SAT Subject Test Math II, AP US History, AP World History, and SAT US History. My favorite subject is History because I believe the understanding of history is crucial to understanding the world today. I start tutoring with each student by asking him or her what topics trouble them the most, and what studying styles he or she uses. I focus on those weaknesses first and then moves onto the rest of the curriculum. I believe in an open forum where the student can discuss everything he or she needs to succeed.
