Marina: Brentwood tutor
Certified Tutor
I earned my Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina). I have ample experience teaching in a wide range of environments (classrooms and laboratories) to different audience from high school students to Ph.D. foreign visitors, I am fully bilingual (English-Spanish), plus I have a strong outreach experience working directly with media and public in general from all ages from pre-K kids to adults.
I have books and music in Spanish, some games too. I have wanted to start teaching Spanish to kids for a while now, so if you are looking for a caring and fun Spanish tutor for your kids, I would love to help.
I am a current volunteer in Alachua Public Schools, which included a background check, plus in Queen of Peace Catholic Church working with pre-K and elementary age kids.
In addition to Spanish, I also tutor in general biology, genetics and evolution for any school age and college.
I love to travel around Gainesville area, within Florida and elsewhere. I also enjoy time with friends like going out to dinner or go dancing (latin music). I like yoga, biking and other outdoor activities.
Please contact me if you have any questions!
Muchas gracias,
Marina
