Hello!

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Nassau Community College with an AA in Creative Writing. I am transferring Fall of 2017 to Queens College to pursue a BA in English; my career end game is to become a Professor of English.

I have 4 years experience in tutoring Spanish. I worked directly with students one-on-one, either through the Spanish Honor Society's peer tutoring program or with students privately. I have also tutored United States History, English, and Algebra as a volunteer on behalf of the organization Thread, a multi-faceted non-profit organization committed to providing educational resources and guidance to under-performing students in the city of Baltimore.

I understand that in order to facilitate mastery of a foreign language, it is integral to stress equally the development of reading, writing, listening, and oral skills. In addition, the lesson has to be made personable and fun. I love seeing the moment of clarity and understanding when a student finally grasps a concept.
