I am currently a Graduate Student at the State University at New Paltz and have just completed my Undergraduate Degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English for grades 7-12.

My experiences in teaching have enabled me to work with a diverse, urban population. In addition to developing English lessons based on Common Core State Standards, I have also created my own person units and lesson plans. I have produced creative lessons where students collaboratively worked with English Language Arts.

I have developed reliable relationships with students, administration, faculty, and staff in my teaching career and I look forward to tutoring to further my experience and empower students to be self-directed learners.
