Certified Tutor

I am graduate of Columbia University, where I studied Religion for my B.A., and of the Jewish Theological Seminary, where I also received a B.A. in Talmud and an M.A. in Jewish Education. I am also a recently ordained rabbi.
I've been tutoring and teaching now for four years. I enjoy most working one-on-one with students to help them grow in their areas of interest. I help my students develop plans of study, and of course guide them through difficult material. My role is to show my students the way through to understanding.
I am moving to Richmond with my wife, who is about to begin her residency in pediatrics. I enjoy cooking, reading, and watching TV - especially things I can binge on on Netflix. I also fall in and out of intense exercise regimens. Nothing makes me happier than to spend hours looking through a used bookstore, where I'll often find something that I've had in mind to buy for years - my collection is closing in on 1000 volumes.
