Certified Tutor

I have a BS in Biochemistry and a minor in Biology from UNC Chapel Hill. I have experience teaching and tutoring all ages. I helped teach three 200 student chemistry classes at UNC as well as led weekly recitations for students. I also worked as a chemistry tutor at UNC for a year. In addition to working with college aged students, I have experience teaching science to elementary aged children. For two years, I designed science experiments and brought them to a Mary Scroggs elementary school in Chapel Hill to teach children science through a program called UNC Science Days. I like to use all sorts of tools to make scientific concepts more relatable and understandable for students.
