Hello! My name is Anna and I am Kyiv National Pedagogical University graduate with a degree in Education/Foreign languages. When I was doing my third year at university, I realized that I wanted not just to accumulate new knowledge but also share it with the others. Thus my passion to teaching emerged. For last thirteen years I have been teaching ESL, Italian and Russian, and I worked with elementary, high school and adult students helping them to read, write and speak in these foreign languages. I have had one on one sessions and group sessions ( up to 20 students). I have worked as a school teacher and a private tutor, providing classes at students homes or in public places.

I have taught students of different backgrounds and skills. I help to improve grammar, reading and writing skills, extend their vocabulary. I have worked with school children, university students, adults. I have helped student to prepare for school exams in Ukraine and also for international tests, such as Ielts and Toefl. I have also worked as business English tutor for different companies as well as with international students. I can explain the difference between British and American English and I am a fan of communicative approach which means a lot of speaking during the classes.

I strongly believe that everyone can speak English. Tutor just needs to find an appropriate approach. I treat every student as an individual with different needs and abilities. I believe that learning a language should be fun, so I have a relaxed teaching method. But on the other hand I am a pretty strict teacher who encourages students to do their best and reach the goals.

I can say that I feel the best when I teach international students in such spheres: English and Italian grammar, English and Italian vocabulary extension, English and Italian writing, reading and speaking.
