I am very happy with our experience so far with Varsity Tutors. They matched my daughter with reading specialist Mary and she is wonderful! My 10 year old daughter feels happy after her sessions and believes her tutor has already helped her.

Gregory

Certified Tutor

I'm from beautiful Upstate New York in a town called Norwich. After graduating as the valedictorian there, I wanted to explore the city, so I went to St. John's University in Queens and studied physics. Eventually I got a job teaching physics, math, and theology at a very nice small classical school.

I loved teaching but decided I wanted to move back upstate and so I went to RIT and got a Masters of Engineering degree in industrial and systems engineering. While I search for more permanent full-time work I thought it would be a good idea to try and tutor because: 1) I enjoy teaching, 2) I can help students excel in school and be successful!

I love sports and music and in fact I've been a certified amateur boxer for the last few years. When I'm not doing that you can find me playing my guitar or my banjo.
