I'm a sophomore at Queens College, and my major is computer science(BS). One of my favorite subjects is math. As a Khan Academy tutor, I know how to help a student understand the concepts clearly in an interesting way. The best part of teaching is when you see a student smile after being able to understand and do something by their own.To me, no question is a silly question and I'm more than willing to start from the basics if the student is struggling because I believe anyone can tackle the higher level studies smoothly if their basic foundation is strong. Apart from that, I'm a great motivator and I'm ready to guide them step by step.
What I truly love the most is the interaction with my students. I want to see them succeed, and I try my best to help them in every possible way.

What is your teaching philosophy?
We do need to praise them for their achievements. We need to have them believe that nothing is impossible and everything happens for a good reason; this is a great way of looking at any situation. I also like to let them know that that they have the potential to do something. Maybe they are struggling because of the circumstances they are in, but they are capable of overcoming their difficulties and doing much better in the future. There's always an opportunity for improvement. Try your best to acquire knowledge but never get disappointed because of the results.
