I am a 19 year old who appreciates school and knowledge more than anything. I have always been drawn to learning more and as a result I have felt the responsibility to pass knowledge on to those who are struggling with a concept I have mastered. I excel in math and science and hope to help kids who are interested in these topics overcome the obstacles that come with the education process, in order to continue learning more. I have had many inspirational academic mentors in my life that have allowed me to become the man I am today and as a result I am glad to be in the position to pay it forward.

What is your teaching philosophy?
As a result of my personal experience with being tutored and tutoring myself, I believe learning the concepts and the ideas that led to and are behind the concepts must be mastered before completing assignments and moving on to the next concept. As a teacher, I would teach the student the ideas and methods of solving as opposed to going through a problem and solving it myself and giving a half explanation after the fact.
