Elias
Certified Tutor
I recently graduated from Washington University in St. Louis but am a Brooklyn native and an alumni of Stuyvesant high school. I have been tutoring since my senior year of high school and have always found it to be fun, engaging and rewarding. I have extensive experience with test prep (primarily SAT and LSAT), but have tutored all ages in a variety of subjects including chemistry, physics, trig, history, English, Spanish, and many others. Looking forward to meeting new students and helping as much as I can!
In the rest of my life, I love to hike, I listen to a ton of music, and enjoy reading, spending time with friends and playing sports. I plan on attending law school in the next few years and hope to eventually work as a public defender.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe in a patient and thorough approach with all students. I like to work through problems and concepts with the student step by step and then ask the student to explain the concept back to me, to verify that they fully understood the concept or problem.
