I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. I tutor math, biology, and chemistry. In my experience, I have tutored college students in college algebra and mentored high school students to guide them in successfully applying to college. My goal is to help the student develop skills in critical thinking and problem solving. I believe developing these skills in combination with guidance in completing assignments and studying for exams will enable the student to develop confidence and succeed in their coursework.

What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?
I have been most successful with new students by identifying their concerns. Together, we can then develop a plan to address the concerns. My goal is to provide different strategies to develop the student's confidence and skills in problem solving to have the student be able to effectively complete their coursework on their own.
