In my current role as a reservoir engineer at ExxonMobil, I use computer models and reservoir engineering principles to estimate the rates and reserves of oil and gas projects. Beyond the technical challenges of reservoir engineering, I am also the Angola Subsurface team lead for economics and economic modeling. This role involves educating engineers and geoscientists to better understand the complexity of the Production Sharing Contract between ExxonMobil and the government of Angola. I am regularly asked to teach others in my group how to model the complicated nuances of this contract.
Before starting my career with ExxonMobil, I studied Petroleum Engineering and Business Entrepreneurship at the University of Oklahoma. As the scholarship chair of my fraternity, I frequently tutored non-engineers and younger petroleum engineers in difficult subjects such as Physics and Calculus.
Outside of work, I enjoy exercising and being physically active as well as traveling and reading. I enjoy drawing and playing the drums and am a former All-State basketball player who is an avid Oklahoma Sooners and OKC Thunder fan. I plan to one day pursue an MBA before starting a career in Energy Finance.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe performing well on the GMAT is about learning the principles of every subcategory of question, being able to quickly recognize the type of question being asked, and having a consistent routine for each type of question.
