Certified Tutor

I graduated in 2012 from the University of Chicago with a degree in Biology and a minor in Spanish Literature. I worked at Epic Systems for a year after undergrad to gain some real world work experience and gain knowledge of healthcare administration. In 2013, I started medical school at the University Of Chicago Pritzker School Of Medicine. I am currently in my fourth year of school, and will be applying tointernal medicine residency programs in the fall. I find the most effective learning strategy is to understand the underlying concepts behind a subject, which facilitates the application of this knowledge to a wide range of novel problems in a testing environment. Additionally, by helping a student find a personal connection to the material, I can foster a passion for the subject that motivates independent learning.
