Certified Tutor

I came to the United States from China years ago to pursue my masters degree. Now I am certified public accountant and work in St. Louis, Missouri.

Although my current last name is a German last name which comes from my marriage, I never forget where I am from originally and what my heritage means to me. My native language is Mandarin Chinese and I have a strong passion in helping people understand and improve their Chinese language skills. I always believe being able to speak and understand another language really can open a door for a person to see the world from a different perspective. There are so many aspects behind a language, such as culture, people, and people's ways of thinking.

When I was in graduate school, I was a Chinese tutor for a U.S. professor who studied Chinese during his spare time. I am motivated to help more people learn and improve their Chinese language skills.

In my spare time, I enjoy drawing, traveling, running, hiking and spending time with my family and friends.
